Residence Permit

This was relatively painless.

Take 6 copies of passport photo, one photocopy of passport and passport to the local police station (We used Lagana Police Station nearest to where we lived). 

The following information was requested, whether it is all required we do not know:

• Name of father & mother (seems to be required for all Greek documents)
• Address in Greece
• Tax Number
• Date of most recent arrival in Greece

Our first visit we were told to return on Friday at 10am. The second visit the forms were filled out (by hand), about 6 of them, all required our signature. We were then told to collect the permit in 3 days. Due to other commitments we collected 2 weeks later.

The permit is valid for 5 years
