Living in Zante

ZANTE YOGA 2006/2007

In the winter of 2006/7 some of the islands residents got together to form Zante Yoga.

The island has many talented people who have left the UK for a different life style so it wasn't to hard to find a Yoga Instructor. The island has a very vibrant 'grapevine' although don't believe everything you hear, if you did we would now have Tesco, Easyjet and a Golf course.

To continue the story we all got together on a Friday morning had a wonderful Yoga class, sat down to a nice lunch and read our newsletter which we created giving health tips, recipes and other information and strange facts.

On our last Yoga of the winter season we all went up to Tragaki where there is a 360° view of the island. Ann had always wanted to do a Yoga class in this beautiful spot, so at the end of March we hopefully fulfilled a long time dream of hers. The weather could have been kinder but it was warm just a little overcast.
