Open Summer, for winter 2018/19 they are closed for renovation

Beautiful location in the North of the Island.  Next to an Old windmill. Not working since the earthquake of 1953.

The restaurant built in stone to harmonize with its surroundings, it stands overlooking the sea.  The large balcony means you eat in shelter but can still enjoy the beautiful view. Parking area in front of building

Traditional Greek menu but with a few more unusual Greek dishes  -  try their Pork with Prunes.

Food is excellent, family run, good friendly service.

The facilities are down a spiral staircase difficult for those with walking problems.  They are however immaculate.

Gentle background music so easy to talk.  In the winter there is a large fire inside.

Askos Sone Park is next to the restaurant and open all summer.  Many animals including Platonia Deer which have been succesfully bred here.  Well worth a visit.

Getting inside the restaurant is mostly steps.  They are spaced out so you could probably get a wheelchair into the main restaurant.  However it would be impossible to get them to the facilities unless they are mobile and they would need plenty of help.

It is adviseable to telephone restaurants in winter for their opening hours. The times they are open can vary considerably.  In summer many restaurants  will only open in the evening, so again best to telephone first if you are intending to eat at lunch time.
